Manijin Island

A scenic island dive site that can be visited from shore and by dive boat.  The south side of this small island offers divers the opportunity to swim along cliff faces, through caves, and swim throughs.  The north side is a shallower dive site, with more opportunities to explore swim throughs, caves and see the abundance of marine life and ancient pottery.

Slipway
(Max depth 24m)
Stride entry into this dive site, swim through several caves, along a large overhang, descending over many large boulders, exploring the many gullies until we reach our maximum depth.  At our maximum depth we continue to explore many interesting features slowly returning to shallower depth and returning to our exit point.

The Stage
(Depth ranges 3m to 20m)
Abundant opportunities to explore along many walls, gullies and overhangs.  Porous rock in the stage allows sunlight to shine through creating the effect of stage lighting.  Pipefish, cleaner shrimps and sea cucumber are among many of the marine life found at the stage.

Wreck of the Achilleas
(Max depth 12m)
A Greek freighter that exploded and sank in 1975.  The wreck is broken up into 3 main sections.  The main feature is the stern section with a bronze propeller, which is still in place.  This flat bottom dive site has an abundance of visible marine life.

Wreck of the Vera K
(Max depth 11m)
A Lebanese freighter that ran aground in 1972, and blown up in 1974.  The wreck is now submerged in an 11m crater. Ship is now in four main sections with the bridge in the best condition.  Some archways and tunnels to explore.  Plenty of marine life to see.  Very easy going dive.

Latchi
(Depth range 50m +)
We travel up to the North of the Island (35 mins drive), take the dive boat from Latchi marina and travel to St. Georges Island.  In the first dive we swim around a steep dramatic wall where we can enjoy a multi level dive, in the shallows we can explore some caves.  The second dive we visit the lovely shallow (14m) Fontana amorosa where we can explore the wide variety of pottery that can be found.  At both sites turtles can be seen in the summer season and plenty of marine life at all other times.

Devils Head

A boat trip departing from St.George's harbour where we can explore caves and interconnecting tunnels in depths from 6m to 18m.  In summer we may see turtles, and plenty of marine life at all other times.
